Jurassic Park 100 Word Review

I watched this for the first time shortly before watching Jurassic World (I had to see what all the buzz was about) and I almost shat my pants. All these years and I had assumed this was a children's movie. It is not. People get fucking eaten and the main characters are in genuine danger most of the time. Considering I watched it 22 years after it was made, the CGI/mechanic stood up pretty well and the child actors did their bit to add to the movie. Surprised I went so long without seeing this because it's really great.

This was awesome

How well it holds up - I realize I hadn't ever seen it before, but for a movie that was made in 1993 it still looks and feels incredible.

But what the fuck was this about?

Boy, oh boy, was the acting poor from the adults? Aside from Richard Attenborough, I did not give a shit whether any of them lived or died or whether Laura Dern would end of having kids with that clown or not.
